Canadian chef & ‘The Bear’ star Matty Matheson will have a pop-up shop in Toronto

Yes, chef! “The Bear” star and Canadian chef Matty Matheson sure has been busy! Matheson has a new cookbook coming out on October 22nd and in celebration, there will be a pop-up in Toronto for all things Matty.

Cookbooks, merch, and even a visit or two from the chef himself! Here’s what to know before you go.

Matty’s World Rules pop-up

Matheson posted about the pop-up on social media writing, “IM POPPING UP AT @TIFF_NET STARTING OCTOBER 10! COME CHECK OUT SOME SOUPS, SALADS, SANDWICHES EXCLUSIVE MERCH @MATHESONFOODCOMPANY SAUCES AND MAC AND @MATHESONCOOKWARE PANS SALT AND PEPS WE’RE HERE UNTIL OCTOBER 20 TORONTOOOOO SEE YOU SOON!”

The pop-up is happening at the TIFF Lightbox from October 10-20th and will feature items from the chef’s various ventures.

In a short video also posted to social media, Matheson says that visitors to the pop-up can expect a visit or two from him over the course of the 10-day pop-up.

Soups, Salads, Sandwiches

As for Matheson’s latest cookbook, the release date is October 22nd.

The last day of the pop-up will be part of the chef’s book tour as the Toronto stop.

While the pop-up is free to visit, the book tour stop will require a ticket which you can get here.
