The world’s happiest country wants to help you live like the locals do. Finland is hosting a free, in-person retreat called the Masterclass of Happiness and Canadians can apply to attend.

The event is described as a “crash course for a happy lifestyle in the world’s happiest nation,” according to Visit Finland.

It will be held this summer in the gorgeous Finnish countryside and hosted by a number of experts in various fields.

At this experience, you’ll get a holistic experience in discovering and nurturing your happiness.

That includes hands-on cooking lessons, foraging, and recipe development, as well as Finnish sauna rituals, and luxury accommodations in a pristine pine forest for restful sleep and relaxation.

The best part is that all of your expenses, including travel and accommodations, will be covered.

If this sounds like your dream come true, you have until April 2nd to complete and submit the two-phase application.

The first part is filling out a simple form online. The second part is a fun social media challenge which you can find right now on Visit Finland’s Instagram and TikTok.

The challenge requires you to film a video that showcases your personality, your “secret” Finn attributes, and why you want to attend the Masterclass.

As for the type of person they’re looking for, Visit Finland says “you don’t have to be a self-help enthusiast or have survival skills in Finnish nature. All we want is an open mind.”

They are also looking for someone with an outgoing personality, who is okay with being filmed during the retreat and sharing their experience with others.

Now, go ahead and fill out the Masterclass of Happiness application and start filming your standout video. Good luck!
