The days are long so the drinks need to be strong. I just made that up but it’s very fitting. If you’re like me and enjoy an ice-cold martini after a long day then you’ll be happy to know that there’s a handful of spots where martinis are $12 or less in Toronto.

It’s time to treat yourself to one or five martinis.

Compton Ave


From the same minds as Barchef and Prequel & Co. Apothecary comes Compton Ave!

This Dundas West cocktail bar takes the top spot on this list for not only a beautiful interior and great vibe – the martini happy hour here is incredible.

Every Tuesday to Sunday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 all the martini selections here are priced at $12.

Choose from Smoke Olive, Diana, Umeboshi, and Nottinghill (just to name a few).

Cost: $12 martinis every Tuesday – Sunday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

1 Hotel Toronto

1 Hotel Toronto is where you want to be on a Monday.

Every Monday, the lobby lounge has a selection of expertly-made martinis for $10 each.

Choose from classics such as dirty, with a twist, on the rocks, you name it. Or, give one of the other options a go such as the Smokey Dirty Martini made with Dillons Vodka, Dry Vermouth, Smoked Olive Brine and Blue Cheese Olives.

Cost: $10 martinis every Monday

KISSA

This stunning restaurant and listening bar on King West is the place to be on a Sunday!

KISSA offers $12 martinis all day on Sundays – yes, please.

Where: 619 King St W
Cost: $12 martinis every Sunday all day

Gloria in the Great Hall 

Queen West’s Glorida in the Great Hall has a daily martini special you’re going to want to take advantage of.

Every day between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM martinis are $10. Get the vodka martini extra dirty – you won’t regret it.

Cost: $10 martinis every day from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Cafe Renée

Cafe Renée has quickly become one of Toronto’s hottest restaurants.

The French fare is incredible and you can wash it down with a $10 martini between the hours of 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. This is a daily deal so head over and enjoy – just note that while this is one of our favourite spots reservations are hard to come by so you may want to plan far ahead or be prepared to wait for a bit.

Insomnia 

Insomnia is a staple in the Annex neighbourhood and Thursdays are a party!

Insomnia has $8 martinis every Thursday – all day.

Choose from Chocolate, Dirty, Lychee, French, Cosmo and more.

Where: 563 Bloor Street W
Cost: $8 martinis every Thursday all day

Le Tigre

This all-pink cocktail bar is one of my favourites and the martini happy hour here is 10/10.

Martinis are half-price every Monday all evening long and on Tuesday – Saturday from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (bringing the classic martini to just $9).

Cost: Half-price martinis every Monday all evening and Tuesday – Saturday from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
