About three and a half hours east of Toronto is Prescott, Ont.
Founded in 1810 by Major Edward Jessup, the town is home to a close-knit community of approximately 4,200 residents.
According to its official site, “this small town’s pride and true love for beautification is exemplified throughout the community.”
In addition to its local shops, scenic parks, and inviting trails, the town also boasts a popular beach destination.
Kelly’s Beach is considered one of the many vibrant waterfront attractions in the town. It offers clean and warm waters just off the St. Lawrence River.
Another highlight along the water is the town’s beloved marina, a favourite spot for locals and visitors alike.
According to the Town, it is considered one of the premier boating facilities in Ontario and is referred to as “the jewel of the St. Lawrence.”
