A look inside Mademoiselle: King Street’s new raw bar & grill that opens next week

There’s a new splash of white and blue on King Street West near Portland, and it’s not related to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Mademoiselle Raw Bar & Grill has taken up 563 King Street West, bringing vibrancy and cuisine inspired by the European coastline.

Although it has not officially opened yet, we had a first look at the space, which spans two levels and is beautifully decorated throughout.

Brought to you by the owners of Marbl, Mademoiselle offers that same elevated experience and atmosphere that Marbl has, but in a space that feels much larger and really airy.

On the menu, expect sushi with fun roll names like “F U Roll” and “The ARod Roll,” oysters, a lot of seafood options, and Tomahawk Steak.

Drinks wise, besides the classics, Mademoiselle’s cocktail menu includes the refreshing gin-based “The Madame”, a colourful “Ginger Divine” which has ginger beer and blue curacao, and “Next on Stage” for those who enjoy mezcal. A must try here would probably be the “Cocoa Chanel” which includes a torched marshmallow on top.
