Surrounded by two stunning mountain lakes, Lussier Hot Springs is without a doubt one of the most beautiful hot springs in the province. And since they’re open year-round and completely free to access, we think a weekend road trip is definitely in order sooner rather than later.
Situated within Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park, the hot springs are adjacent to a historic lakeside hiking trail, which takes hikers through a Douglas-fir forest from the Alces Lake campground to the Home Basin campground.
In addition to wildlife spotting opportunities, visitors can dip into the Alces and Whiteswan Lakes, enjoying spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains. And once you’re ready to unwind from a day of adventuring, the soothing waters of Lussier Hot Springs are just a short distance away, at the park entrance at the 17.5 km marker on the Whiteswan Forest Service Road.
