This new lunch spot in Vancouver is serving up comfort food & weekly specials

With chilly weather well underway, we’re definitely on the hunt for all things cozy. And what better way to warm up during the colder months than with a warm bowl of your fave comfort food? Thankfully, Kafka’s new Lunch Bar is serving up exactly that.

The iconic coffee roaster has officially launched a new mid-day pop-up inside their Gastown location. On the menu? A slew of delicious one-bowl meals, tasty sandwiches, and made-from-scratch Glory Bowls.

The launch of Lunch Bar took place last week, and now, you can officially stop by between 11 am and 2 pm from Monday to Friday to enjoy a bowl of vegan chilli, avocado toast, grilled cheese, and much more.

Known for his innovative takes on classic sandwiches, Chef Cohen is leading the team in creating an amazing lineup of rotating stews. As well, Lunch Bar is featuring two different stew specials for $13.50 each week – one vegan and one meat. Both are served with a slice of fresh-baked focaccia bread.

Available from November 28th to December 2nd are the Beef Chili topped with shredded mozzarella, Valentina’s sour cream, and cornbread crumble, and the Vegan Chili with tortilla-chip gremolata.

So, set your lunchtime reminders and beat the cold with something warm and nostalgic.

We’ll see you there!
