Toronto’s Lee Restaurant is closing its King Street flagship & relocating next year

Following news that Earls Restaurant Group was taking over Lee by Susur Lee’s space on King Street, Toronto was left wondering what will happen to the iconic downtown spot. And we just got an update from Lee Restaurant, and it’s all good news to fans of Susur’s dishes.

According to statement sent to Curiocity, Lee restaurant will continue to operate at the current King street location for the remainder of the year.

This means, December 31, will be the last night of service. BUT, they also added that Lee will be reopening at a new location in March 2023.

“The new location will be located around the corner and all the favourites will live on (including the slaw, the cheeseburger spring rolls, and our chefs banquet menu),” said the restaurant’s team.

While this is all the information they provided, we’re excited to hear the slaw will live on.
