It looks like an iconic Toronto restaurant will be shutting its doors soon. Earls Restaurant Group announced it will be opening a new location on King Street West, taking over the Lee by Susur Lee space.

Earls’ expansion into King West is part of a larger plan, which includes opening at Manulife Centre as well. King West Earls is set to open in fall of 2023, and the Manulife location in 2024.The two new locations will mark the group’s 70th and 71st North American locations, according to the brand.

The flagship Lee Restaurant, located at 601 King Street West, has yet to confirm the news, which comes a day after they were voted one of the 100 best restaurants for outdoor dining in Canada.

The other Earls King Street location at King and York will undergo a lounge renovation and name change, becoming Earls Financial District.
