Attention, Vancouver foodies. The city is getting a new Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant called Lavantine, and it’s located on the rooftop of AZUR Legacy Hotel, AKA Vancouver’s newest 5-star boutique hotel.
Drawing from the rich flavours and time-honoured recipes of the Levant region, the new dining concept joins Dahlia in providing guests with a memorable experience at AZUR.
The boutique hotel also happens to be the only member of the Leading Hotels of the World in Western Canada, making Lavantine all the more tempting to try once it opens!
“Lavantine showcases the very best that BC has to offer,” says AZUR Food and Beverage Director Sofia Sayani. “There will be an open-concept kitchen where guests can witness the culinary magic firsthand and a bar where they can bask in the breathtaking views of the surrounding cityscape.”

The ‘Arabesque-inspired’ restaurant invites guests to immerse themselves in dishes and sips inspired by the legendary tales known as One Thousand and One Nights.
Curated by Chefs Shyam Longani and Daniel Kenney, its menu will feature everything from Watermelon Salad with whipped feta, mint, and olive crumble to entrees like Kofta Kebab (minced meat skewers). Oh, and Baklava and Pistachio Gelato for dessert!
Overall, guests can expect ingredients like molasses, pistachios, and pomegranate to dominate the menu.
In terms of libations, guests can sip on an array of classic and contemporary cocktails and wines at the Skybar, inspired by Arabian folklore.
The restaurant will officially open its doors this May, so stay tuned for more info surrounding its opening date.
Once open, Lavantine will operate from 4 to 11 pm daily (except Monday).
