Toronto’s poutine festival has begun & the creations are over-the-top

Ah, poutine, the one dish we can eat any time of year but is especially enjoyable during a good ole’ Canadian winter. For the next two weeks, restaurants across Canada will participate in a poutine festival known as La Poutine Week and there are many Toronto spots participating.

For the past decade, La Poutine Week has been both a regional competition for great poutine and a great excuse to support local restaurants. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that a portion of the proceeds goes to Quebec-based charities.

To celebrate its 10-year anniversary, La Poutine Week has extended its runtime to two full weeks until February 14th. A romantic poutine on Valentine’s Day? Now there’s an idea we can get behind.
