Rumours are once again swirling after Toronto Raptors superstar Kyle Lowry has conditionally sold his Toronto home. The property was put up on the market weeks ago, but now it has a conditional offer. According to The Toronto Star, as long as the home passes a pending home inspection and financing, it’ll have a new owner to the tune of $5.3 million.

Of course, the gorgeous property is definitely worth its hefty price tag. The place boasts 5+1 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and is located in a prestigious North York neighbourhood. It’s also got loads of additional perks like extensive security, an elevator, gourmet kitchen, separate butler’s kitchen, media room, sauna, and more. Needless to say, the spot is pretty fancy.

But what does the sale mean for the Raptors? At the moment, nothing is confirmed. Fans are concerned that the timing of the sale, having lined up with Kyle Lowry’s contract expiration date, could mean that the star is on his way out of the city. Although his agent recently denied the rumour that Lowry’s on his way to join the Philadelphia 76ers, fans are still understandably apprehensive.

Lowry will be a free agent at the end of the 2020-2021 season, and it’s no secret the All Star player is in high demand. So we’ll be watching closely and trying not to read too far into the whole thing. No matter what happens, Lowry will always be a Toronto Raptor to us.
