If you’ve never learned to surf you don’t have to leave the province to do so!

According to Visit Kincardine, “Station Beach is quickly becoming a hot spot for SURFING the Great Lakes. Named as one of Canada’s Top 9 Destinations for surfing, this is definitely a spectator’s delight.”

Local businesses offer board rentals on-site making it easy to hit the water and try it out.

Station Beach also boasts a beautiful boardwalk and ‘MOBI-Mats‘, rubberized, mesh that enables those in wheelchairs, using a walker, or anyone who has issues navigating the sand the opportunity to enjoy the beach.

Now that you got your surf in we’re sure you’ve worked up an appetite

There’s no shortage of different cuisines in Kincardine! Sushi Won serves up delish sushi rolls while Godfather Pizza is the spot for a slice.

Locals is a pub and eatery you can also add to your list serving up classics like nachos, fish and chips, burgers and salads.

Kincardine is also home to a Provincial Park, Inverhuron. The park is known for having a beach of its own, a great place to head to if Station Beach is a little too crowded.
