This beloved Kensington gem just introduced its spring menu & it’s delightful

We love seasonal menus. For one, they give us an excuse to revisit our fave spots again and again. Two, they ensure that the dishes are crafted with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. Three, they give restaurants a means to flaunt their creativity. And all three of these are true in the case of Hotel Arts Kensington’s in-house restaurant, Oxbow.

The restaurant recently debuted its seasonal menu and it’s every bit as delightful as you’d want it to be. With the new Oxbow spring menu, Executive Chef Quinn Staple and Chef de Cuisine Myles Perry continued to offer a mix of gourmet delicacies and popular comfort food. And as is an Oxbow tradition, the comfort foods have been amped up with creative and lavish twists.

So, you can enjoy Vol Au Vent and Caesar Beef Tartare alongside Carbonara and Pork Chops (we did exactly that btw).

Some fan favourite items are just too good to get rid of *ahem Brie en Brioche* so don’t worry, you’ll still find them on the menu.

While everything tasted as expected- delish- the highlight of the table was the Seared Duck Breast. The meat, juicy and tender just like you’d expect, the flavours rich and balanced (drooling as we type). Straight-up divine if you ask us!

Now imagine enjoying all this in the casual-meets-lush setting of the resto-bar while sipping on a refreshingly yum prosecco.

Frankly, we’ve witnessed quite a few seasonal menus at Oxbow. And the one thing that hasn’t changed all along, is the food quality. Now, that is impressive!

Oh, and when you are there, we suggest you take advantage of the gorg urban escape that houses this culinary gem. A weekend at the beautiful Hotel Arts Kensington is sure to spruce up your spring. The luxe boutique hotel is afterall known to be just as beautiful as the Bow River and DT skyline views it offers.

Head over to their website to check out the seriously tempting Oxbow spring menu and their warm and inviting accommodations.
