This Portland pizza spot just ranked among the best pizzerias in the world & here’s why

Who doesn’t love a good slice of pizza? If you’re particularly fond of the food then you might need to take a road trip to Portland. Why? Well because Ken’s Artisan Pizza just ranked among the best pizzerias in the world. Who would’ve thought!

50 Top Pizza just released their annual ranking of the world’s best pizzas and despite being an Italian-based ranking, there are plenty of US spots represented. Sadly, there are no Washington spots included but Ken’s Artisan Pizza in Portland Oregon did make the list at number 57. So what makes Ken’s so special?

According to 50 Top Pizza, their focus on Neapolitan cuisine, specifically pizza is what helped them land their spot. They describe the pizzas as authentic but “immediately understandable to the American palate.” Points were also given for their long-leavened dough and also for their use of seasonal vegetables.

So if you’re looking to make a trip soon, Portland is a great option especially now that you have a new pizza place to check out. If you’d like to see the full menu or learn more you can visit Ken’s website.
