Toronto, you’re in for a treat – literally! Are you a fan of “The Bear” on Disney+? Well, the world’s first Michelin-starred Filipino Restaurant that had a little cameo on the show is coming to this Toronto restaurant for a very exclusive dinner pop-up this April.
Remember that episode where Carmie from “The Bear” gets locked in the restaurant freezer? Well, that that’s Kasama Chicago. Toronto’s AP Restaurant is teaming up with them alongside single malt Scotch whisky Glenfiddich, for The Stars Align ll.
This dinner series kicked off earlier this year with Michelin-awarded Mont Bar Barcelona and Estrella Damm for a two-night ticketed event at AP. Now it’s Kasama Chicago’s turn.
“We’re thrilled to bring the famously addictive flavours of Kasama to Toronto,” said Hanif Harji, CEO and Founder of Scale Hospitality.
“We’re enormous fans ourselves, and this triple collaboration menu presents a once-in-a-lifetime tasting experience for our city.”

Dinner guests can expect a six-plate course menu that are paired with single malt scotch cocktails and drams from Glenfiddich and a dessert course from each restaurant.
“We can’t wait to introduce Kasama to Canada alongside Chef Antonio,” said owners and Chefs, Tim and Genie. “The burgeoning Filipino culture and community has only just begun to flourish globally, and we’re eager to showcase its incredible richness to the buzzing culinary city of Toronto – and to creatively collaborate with Chef Antonio and his talented AP team.”
Tickets are now available for $175 per guest and can be purchased online.
