K-Days has announced that it’s coming back this summer

After having to cancel the festival last year, Edmonton’s iconic K-Days has announced that it’s coming back this summer, one way or another. While details are few and far between, we do know some facts about it! So, let’s get up to speed.

In keeping with past years, K-Days this summer should last a full 10 days, from July 23rd to August 1st. That’s over three weeks after Alberta is planning to fully reopen, so hopefully, there will be no issues there. That said, K-Days offered up a poll on Twitter back in March, asking fans what kinds of events and options they’d like to see.

In that, around 80% of the respondents were willing to attend at least an outdoor event, and 44% said they’d attend indoor and outdoor events. So, we’re sure that the organizers are taking that into account, and planning all kinds of options to be reviewed by public health employees. K-Days is usually filled to the brim with music events, exhibitions, midway attractions and fireworks displays. So, which ones stay and which ones get the boot will be interesting to see.
