Jimmy John’s is opening its first Canadian location in the GTA & here’s where

Sandwich lovers – this is big! Jimmy John’s, a popular and beloved sandwich chain popular in the United States is coming to Canada. The restaurant is set to open its first Canadian location in the GTA and we have the details.

Where and when

We’ll get the big question out of the way first – exactly where will the first Canadian Jimmy John’s be?

Etobicoke will be home to the restaurant, located at 197 North Queen Street.

As for when we have a season but not an exact date. According to the Jimmy John’s Canada website and social media accounts, the location will open fall of 2024.

Yep – it’s coming very soon!

What is Jimmy John’s?

If you’re not familiar with the chain, it’s best known for serving up sub-style sandwiches.

They’re also known for making the sandwiches “freaky fast”. There are over 2600 locations in the United States so it’s about time it made its way north of the border!

The menu is big and the options range from turkey, tuna, veggie, and classics like the “vito” which has provolone, avocado spread, cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo.

Be sure to keep an eye on the Jimmy John’s Canada social media pages for when they drop the exact date the Etobicoke location opens to the public.

This isn’t the first American sandwich chain to open recently in Ontario, with Jersey Mike’s opening locations around the province this year.

We can’t wait to chow down!
