Few events feel like they’re powered by literal magic, but the Jasper Dark Sky Festival is where dreams become a reality.

Back for another year of stunning displays, incredible performances and world-famous speakers, this autumn gathering is held at the world’s second-largest dark sky preserve.

For 10 days, jr. astronomers and curious kittens from all over the world are encouraged to power down, look up and learn about the stars and our neighbouring planets through uniquely Albertan programming.

While more details are still to come, the festival has already announced a ton of experiences that guests can enjoy in and around the area.

These include an outdoor symphony after dark, late-night Skytram rides, a traditional ᐸᐦᑭᓯᒧᐣ pahkisimon ceremony,  a drone light show, and an evening heli-tour – as well as a series of fireside chats with Warrior Women.
