If you’re a whiskey aficionado, you’re going to want to mark your calendar. Jameson is bringing an immersive whiskey tour experience to Toronto’s Stackt Market – and you might just learn something!
Jameson has been making smooth, triple-distilled whiskey for over two centuries and they’re bringing their experts along to teach you about the history of this iconic drink.
The pop-up distillery is housed inside a set of shipping containers that have been travelling the world, with stops spanning New York City and as far as Mumbai!
The Jameson pop-up will be at Stackt Market for 10 days and will take you through the story of Irish Whiskey, the triple-distillation process, and a guided tasting.

The tour is free to attend and will take you through an immersive journey from the birth of the whiskey tradition in Ireland, to the modern iterations you know today. World Travel Awards actually awarded the Bow St. Distillery the World’s Leading Distillery Tour.

That’s right, there’s more than just whiskey (although that part’s still pretty great). The Jameson pop-up will be featuring local artists performing live entertainment for you to enjoy while you’re there. Experience everything from grassroots artists to high-profile musicians and DJs.
The opening night May 2, will feature a legendary DJ set by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning of Broken Social Scene. Don’t miss out on the headlining performance at 8:30 PM!
Haven’t you ever wondered how whiskey gets that smokey flavour? Learn from the experts, because Jameson is flying in Ger Buckley, their fifth-generation cooper, to show off the craft of charring barrels for whiskey maturation.
This demo will only be around the first week of the pop-up, and there will literally be a flamethrower, so you don’t want to miss it!
After you’re done with the tour, you can check out the on-site Jameson bar with craft cocktails for purchase. There’s also premium Jameson merch available if you really want to commemorate the experience.
