Calgary is getting a 22,000 square foot Italian grocery store & here’s where

Foodies, look ahead because something deliciously Albertan is on the horizon!

Known for its vast selection of cheeses, meats, pastries and cakes, the Italian Centre Shop has been a local favourite since 1959 but until now they’ve only had one Calgary location.

Coming in 2026, the grocer will open an additional spot in Northland Village Mall and it’s going to be huge.

With a cafe and an artisan bakery, customers can grab a bite to eat at the cafe, indulge in fresh bread and of course, shop.

“The highly anticipated expansion, spanning over 22,000 sq. ft, will be designed to bring Calgarians in the Northwest the unparalleled grocery experience and brand of hospitality we’ve developed and evolved over the past 65 years,” they wrote.

“Stay tuned for updates as we embark on this exciting journey”

Unfortunately, an exact date for their opening has yet to be announced, but time will fly!

Until then, check out their Willow Park store and enjoy.

These are exciting times.
