There’s a new cocktail lounge opening in Toronto & here’s what to know

The newest late-night spot for “unapologetically-strong” cocktails is here. A new cocktail club and lounge is opening on Toronto’s busiest late-night strip, King Street this Thursday.

From the team behind Belfast Love, Walrus Pub, Death & Taxes, and Gift Shop comes the city’s newest experience, Isabelle’s. The latest concept by Freehouse Collective brings a late-night hub located on the second floor of 548 King Street West.

“Isabelle’s is our first Toronto project since coming out of lockdown, and the energy couldn’t be more alive in this city,” said designer Ricky Alvarez. “We’ve married this lofty, bright, and beautiful design with some darkly creative edge and bohemian overtones in a very functional space that reminds me of a fashionable kitchen party. Isabelle’s is going to meet that energy by putting lips and feet to work.”

To give you an idea of what to expect, Isabelle’s will feature an exciting cocktail program, table service, and curated music “complemented by an art-driven design reminiscent of an open-style loft found in Brooklyn by way of London.”

Eager nightcrawlers can kick off their weekends early with Isabelle’s on Thursdays with sounds from DJ Intrinity, Friday’s with Cale Granton and Saturday’s Lincoln Baio. There is a style code in effect so come dressed to impress.

The lounge and cocktail club officially opens on December 15 and is the sister location to the very popular Isabelle’s in Vancouver’s Yaletown.

According to the Isabelle’s team, the space is available for private groups and corporate events Sunday through Wednesday with catering options available.

You now have your weekend plans settled, you’re welcome.
