The chain known for serving delicious warm cookies and ice cream until the late hours of the night is expanding into Canada for the first time.

Those lucky enough to try it first will be students and staff at one of the biggest universities in Toronto.

That’s because the chain has announced that the first Canadian location will open at York University on Saturday, September 9th.

The grand opening will be a late-night celebration with DJ tunes, swag, and of course, free cookies.

It looks like we’ll finally get to see what all the hype is about. Pulling an all-nighter in the campus library suddenly seems like a great idea!

The cookie shop will also serve up Confetti, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup and S’mores treats, as well as vegan creations.

“From a college start-up, we’ve come a long way over the last 20 years, and this year’s national and international new stores openings are just a taste of what’s to come for Insomnia Cookies,” said Seth Berkowitz, Founder and CEO of Insomnia Cookies.

If you’re looking for a job, Insomnia’s new location is hiring managers, part-time cookie crew, delivery drivers, and shift leaders.
