While we probably could have seen it coming, it’s still tough to find out that Imagine Van Gogh in Edmonton has been postponed for a second time. The immersive exhibition was originally set to start in late March, but now likely will not open until early this June. Here’s the scoop.

As an indoor ‘experience’ Imagine Van Gogh requires that Edmonton be in Step 3 of our reopening plan. If all went according to schedule, the exhibit would likely have opened in March. However, rising case rates in the province prevented the government from moving forward, before reverting back to Step 1 last week.

So, the immersive exhibition isn’t really a top priority for the province right now, but it’s still a bummer that ticketholders will have to wait even longer to check it out. We’re crossing our fingers that we’ll be able to see it sooner rather than later. But, for now, we’re going to focus on staying healthy and safe.
