Ready to sink your fork into a stack of world-famous flapjacks? Now, you’ll be able to find them at Toronto’s very first IHOP location in Liberty Village. But, to spare you the surprise and potential disappointment, let us fill you in on what to expect when you get there.

The iconic breakfast chain isn’t operating a sit-down restaurant in the city. Instead, they’ve opted for a ghost kitchen where you can place your order virtually, and get it via takeout or delivery.

IHOP has partnered with Ghost Kitchen Brands, a company that operates virtual kitchens all over North America. You can get your IHOP on the Ghost Kitchen Brands online ordering platform ahead of time, or at the kiosk at the Liberty Village location.

You can also place your order through your go-to food delivery service and get it sent to your door.

The menu items you have to choose from include decadent pancake platters like New York Cheesecake, Rooty Tooty Fresh n’ Fruity, and Double Blueberry, omelettes with all kinds of toppings, burritos, bowls, breakfast sandwiches, combos and mouthwatering milkshakes.

If you’d prefer to enjoy your pancakes in the comfort of a restaurant booth, you could head to one of the many new IHOP locations opening up in Ontario, starting in Belleville, Hamilton, London, Waterloo, and Windsor. There’s also an existing restaurant in Niagara Falls you can check out.

The Belleville location will seat up to 184 guests and is slated to open in February, the company announced recently. Until then, you’ll just have to get your pancake fix via takeout or delivery.
