Surrounded by a dramatic landscape, the iconic hotel has once again opened THE “coolest” cantina in the mountains.

Built using 300 lbs of solid ice, the aptly named Fairmont Ice Bar is a mountain haven perfect for ending an adventure-filled day in Banff, Canmore or at the chateau itself.

Whether you’re a guest or just visiting, those interested in treating themselves can enjoy a variety of cozy cocktails while sitting on an icy bench between now and mid-April (depending on the weather).

Reservations aren’t required, however – those staying in the hotel will be given priority so keep that in mind if you plan on checking it out!

From mulled wine and boozy hot chocolate, come ready to indulge in some incredible drinks and dress extra warm!

Once you’re settled in, you won’t want to leave.

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise – The Ice Bar

When:  Until mid-April (weather permitting)
