Did you know that Ontario’s longest snow tubing hill is just an hour away from Toronto? Horseshoe Resort is home to the province’s longest tubing hill and it’s a must-do winter activity.

Now open for the winter season, Horseshoe Resort serves as the perfect winter getaway destination, that is not too far from home.

The family-friendly Ontario ski and golf resort is located at 1101 Horseshoe Valley Road West in Barrie, Ontario. It features 28 Alpine ski and snowboard runs, 30 kms of double track set Nordic trails, a terrain park, golfing, a man-made lake, snow tubing, snowshoeing, indoor and outdoor pools, and much more.

Though you’ll feel inclined to grab some skis and hit the slopes, take time out of your day to grab a tube and fly down the massive hill.

The hill features five long chutes that end with a slight bump so you can catch some air for that thrilling experience.

All ages are welcome to zoom down this hill, just as long as you’re at least 3’5″ and you’re wearing the proper winter footwear.

There are two passes available so make sure to pick one that suits your needs – the two-hour Midweek Pass is available Tuesday to Thursday for $26 and the three-hour Weekend Pass offers four sessions starting at 9 AM, with the last session at 6 PM, priced at$49.

For Family Day weekend and March Break, holiday pricing is in effect and the three-hour passes are $55 plus tax.

Need a helmet? They’re available for $17.

Your next winter adventure awaits!
