According to HorsePlay Niagara, “The view of the sun setting as we horseback ride along the still waters of the lake and the abandoned quarry creates memories that will last a lifetime.”
The tours are accompanied by a guide, who leads each group and will offer insight into all of the wildlife visible along the way.
While the ride ends at the beach, it starts through the Trans- Canada Trail where the group will watch for deer to come out and “graze in the peaceful fields.”
You’re welcome to show up in a pair and be grouped with others or you can book a group of your own for up to 18 people.
All riders must be at least 10 years old to participate.
HorsePlay takes pride in their horses and all of them have been rescued and rehabilitated.
“All of the horses we use have been rescued and have come to us in varying degrees of condition. After rehabilitation and training, they are ready for our customers to ride,” notes HorsePlay Niagara.
The sunset ride experience lasts around an hour and a half and will cost $85 per rider.
