ICYMI, it’s a great day for Vancouver’s coffee scene! Beaucoup is launching a new bakery this fall – and we’ve got another exciting expansion to share with you. The city’s fave farm-to-cup cafe Honolulu Coffee has announced that they’ll be opening a third location in Olympic Village. Best of all? They’re not waiting until the opening to celebrate!
Folks can come by either of the two existing Honolulu locations (888 Nelson Street or 2098 West 41st Avenue) on Monday, August 22nd or Tuesday, August 23rd and receive free drip Kona coffee! If that doesn’t put you in a good mood on a weekday, then we don’t know what will.

The female-owned coffee shop will feature a 25-seat, 985-square-foot space with a dog-friendly patio and nutritious food menu unlike any other cafe in town.
“Aloha means love, peace, compassion, and a mutual understanding of respect. These are the values we strive to deliver to our customers and community across all our locations,” says Ming Yang, owner of all three locations. “We want to serve the False Creek neighbourhood with high-quality service along with a fresh take on cafe meals and beverages.”
In terms of eats and drinks, visitors can expect all the delicious health bowls and Açai that originally launched Honolulu Coffee to stardom in the area. To add to the mix, there are BBQ turkey sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches with pineapple chutney, guava bread and macadamia nut cookies, and much more.

Now, for the coffee. All pour-over beans are imported directly from Hawaii’s Big Island and grown on the lush slopes of the Mauna Loa Volcano – and that goes for all Honolulu Coffee locations. These Kona-roasted beans are then brewed into their signature drinks, like the refreshing Hawaiin Cream Cold Brew and Hawaiian Latte.
Although there’s no official opening date just yet, the cafe says in a press release that it’s aiming to open in “early fall.” For now, folks can peruse their tasty Insta feed and stay cool with a refreshing Açai smoothie.
