Vancouver’s fave spot for French pastries and cookie sandwiches is getting a second location, folks. This is not a drill. Beaucoup Bakery is celebrating a decade of delicious service, and recently announced the opening of its new bakeshop this fall.

And where will the new Beaucoup set up shop? On the ground floor of Vancouver’s historic St. Regis Hotel, of course, in the spot formerly occupied by a Starbucks. But don’t let that fool you – the new bakeshop will have a distinct ‘European feel’ to compliment its Parisian-inspired menu thanks to award-winning design firm Ste. Marie Studio.

“The space will be transformed into an intimate room with a ‘European feel,’ a place for guests to relax and be transported to another world.” Revamped contemporary branding by Glasfurd & Walker is just the icing on top!

The OG Beaucoup Bakery first launched on Fir Street in 2012 and was purchased by siblings (and longtime employees) Betty and Jacky Hung in 2017. Now, the new 1,300-square-foot bakery will feature counter service, new sweet and savoury treats, and continue the Beaucoup legacy.

We couldn’t be more excited to see what delicious, inventive creations come out of the new Beaucoup outpost. And while there’s no sign of an official opening date just yet, we think a deep dive into the bakery’s Insta feed is warranted, if not absolutely necessary.

We’ll keep an eye out and check back in soon, folks. And for now, it might be time to plan a visit to the OG spot for some cream-filled danishes and coffee!
