Here’s where you can buy a home for less than $200K in Alberta right now

It’s not perfect, but the Alberta real estate market is one to be desired… in comparison to other provinces, anyway. Whether you’re a bargain hunter or a first-time homebuyer it’s worth noting that here, there are various homes listed at a reasonable price – you just have to know where to look!

According to a new report published by Point2Homes, Alberta has emerged as a ‘major player’ for Canadian affordability, though they cite Edmonton as the city where you’ll get the most bang for your buck.

“Living large in Edmonton ($229/square foot) is more doable than in other hubs. For homebuyers seeking more space at a lower cost, $300k could translate into 1,115 sq. ft. in Alberta’s capital,” they write – however, it is possible to find a nice home for even less!

In fact, they’ve also provided us with a few homes that practically defy all expectations.

Don’t believe it can’t be done? Here are just a few Alberta homes for sale listed under $200k!
