York-Durham Heritage Railway: Holiday Train Rides

York-Durham Heritage Railway has filled its schedule with all kinds of Christmas-themed train rides and passengers of all ages are in for a treat.

The special train rides include The North Pole Light UP Express, Pancake Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus, Santa Express Train Ride, the Victorian Christmas Tea — A Dickensian service, the Bethlehem Express The Nativity on Rails, and the 19+ Murder at the Christmas Station dinner.

Santa Treats Train Rides

This festive train ride takes you through Elgin County on board a heated and decorated car. Kids and kids at heart will be treated to live entertainment on board, and Santa will be waiting to greet you when you arrive at the final destination.

Polar Express at Niemi Family Farm

All aboard the Polar Express! Niemi Family Farm’s Christmas Land has returned for the holidays and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported straight to Santa’s hometown.

You’ll get to climb aboard the Polar Express and travel around the magical village, saying hello to the farm animals along the way.

Sing along to Christmas carols on this 75-minute trolley ride to all of the gorgeous light displays and decorations around Kingston.

You don’t want to miss the final Christmas trolley of the year on December 31st, which ends just in time for the city’s spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks show.
