It’s the first of December and we don’t know about you but we’re in full holiday mode. We’re saying Christmas trees are up, the house is decked in the best holiday decor, and Christmas shopping is in full swing. But it feels like we’re missing something… Oh, all the fun-filled holiday light festivals that we have yet to explore.

Christmas Glow Toronto

The popular Christmas Glow festival is back in Toronto this year, but instead of taking you on a trip to Santa’s village, you’ll be taken on a trip around the world. The indoor experience will take visitors on an illuminated journey to six different countries. No passport required! Explore the wonders of the world beneath the dazzling glow of millions of twinkling lights. The best part is that it’s entirely indoors, so you won’t have to pose for photos in your winter parka.

Winter Lights Across Canada
Make the road trip east, all the way to Ottawa this winter for the array of lights that sparkle, shine and reflect across the downtown The Pathway of Lights features hundreds of thousands of lights on Confederation Boulevard, a ceremonial route through Ottawa.

Stroll down the illuminated, 1.5km trail at Winter Wonders in Burlington. Experience an evening of stunning festive lights, interactive light-to-sound installations and displays that capture the holiday spirit. The Royal Botanical Gardens has transformed Hendrie Park’s picturesque pathways with all the best installations for a very festive holiday season.

Dazzling lights have taken over Alight at Night at Upper Canada Village for the holidays. Gaze in awe at over one million lights that hang on heritage buildings, trees, and fences at eastern Ontario’s largest light show. Celebrate the holidays like it’s an 1866 pioneer village bash.

You can take a stroll through its 1 km Light Trail as you shop, dine and take in the beauty of winter.
