Make your way to Burlington this winter for its annual Festival of Lights. The popular event kicks off later this month, and it is bringing the joys and magic to the waterfront, illuminating the night sky. Here’s what to know.

Starting November 24th and into the new year, the Festival of Lights will light up the night sky every night, showcasing holiday-themed displays during the winter season.

Spencer Smith Park transforms into a bright, winter wonderland, welcoming all to experience the magical installations.

This free event garners thousands of local residents and visitors from across the region, according to the city. And thousands more who decide to drive along and spot them from the comfort of their own cars.

It is a popular annual tradition in the community!

Since it’s in the park, you can roam around at your leisure and even bring your pup to join in on the fun.

There are several parking lots located in Downtown Burlington so if you’d like to get up close and personal with the installations, you totally can. But if you rather avoid the cold and see them from afar, just drive along Lakeshore Road and you can see them from there.

The Festival of Lights begins at 4 PM every night, until midnight. There are extended hours on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Orthodox Christmas, and New Years Eve.

Looks like you have another addition to your holiday to-do list this year.
