The ultimate Christmas festival is coming back to Toronto this year and will transform the stackt market into a winter wonderland for the holidays. They’ll have some new additions to this year’s event and here’s what to know.

Toronto’s annual winter festival, Holiday Hills is back this month featuring brand new immersive installations, along with local businesses for holiday shopping, festive food and drink offerings, community-led events, workshops and so, so much more. Starting November 17th and running until December 31st, expect a fun-filled, festive festival for all to enjoy.

“We are elevating Holiday Hills to new heights this year,” says STACKT’s Vice President of strategy and development Jessica Lynch. “We will be introducing some unforgettable experiences with some new show-stopping installations while bringing back the fan favourites”.

There’s a new addition to the festivities this year – an immersive Tunnel of Lights that spans 120 feet. Here guests can make their way through the site under a bed of twinkling lights.

There will also be a new-and-improved 40-foot Wish Wall, where guests can make a wish.

And don’t forget about its 20-foot Holiday Tree.

According to Holiday Hills organizers, the west side of the property will be transformed into a winter wonderland named The Valley, filled with festive food and beverage zones, warming huts, and outdoor activities.

Here you can enjoy a game of curling and warm up by wood-burning bonfires. Stop by the Speakeasy Whiskey Bar, chow down on some tacos from Kong’s Hot Tacos, and try some winter baos from Bao Bird.

The Community Lane will host the Fizz & Fire Patio, featuring a Champagne Bar, cozy huts with bonfires, and s’mores offerings.

“The Fizz & Fire Patio can be booked in advance, and will be the ideal holiday date night, gathering spot for friends, or Family Funday tour stop, full of twinkling lights and decadent toasty snacks,” shares organizers.

And while you’re at it, check out the over 30 retail pop ups throughout the holiday experience. Support local and purchase one-of-a-kind gifts. Keep an eye out for other holiday activations and experiences from brands like Jack Daniel’s, The Home Depot Canada Foundation, Best Buy, Taittinger and MilkUp, too.

“Our community is integral to everything we do,” says Jessica Lynch. “We want guests to experience a memorable holiday season at STACKT while supporting and celebrating the city’s best businesses, chefs, musicians and creators.”

The festival will run for six weeks and is gearing up to host fun events and immersive experiences every day. There’s just too much to look forward to, we don’t doubt you’d want to try them all.
