New trailer for Tegan & Sara’s ‘High School’ series shows a ton of Calgary locations

Rub those eyes and take a seat. Calgary-born-duo, Tegan and Sara, have recently released the full trailer for their upcoming series, Highschool and honestly, October 14th can’t come fast enough.

Starring Seazynn and Railey Gilliland, Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) and Kyle Bornheimer (Marriage Story, Brooklyn Nine-Nine), this highly anticipated Amazon original is set to premiere on Freevee later this fall.

Based on their best-selling memoir of the same name, Highschool will detail life before the award shows and tours, when the pair just started making music, were learning to get along and understanding who they were as individuals.

As you can imagine, a ton of familiar locations are present in the preview (above) – with Crescent Heights, the school they attended in the 90s, at the forefront.

In addition, the city skyline and several urban streets can also be seen, with more to come when it finally drops next month.

If of course, you can’t wait – they’ll be showing episodes 1 to 3 at the Calgary International Film Festival on September 29th, which will be followed by a live acoustic performance and Q & A with Tegan and Sara themselves – so don’t miss it!

If you’re interested in checking it out, tickets are available now but are going fast, so don’t hesitate.

It’s going to be a good one, Calgary. We can feel it!
