This September, let your imagination take flight during the Heritage Inn Balloon and Glow Festival which returns to Alberta for another year of passenger rides, colourful zeppelins and wicker madness.

An annual competition that features pilots from all over Canada, the US and Europe, this magical event is by far one of the most beautiful in the province and you won’t want to miss a beat.

Meant to challenge enthusiasts to everything from direction and speed to control and grace, attendees can expect a sky-full of expertly flown balloons, food trucks and vendors for five stunning days starting the 27th – but it’s not just a day-time extravaganza.

As mentioned, HIBF also holds ‘Glow,’ which takes place in the evening and lights the night with illuminated balloons a live DJ, dancers and more.
