Here’s where you should grab drinks in Vancouver this weekend

Howdy folks! We’ve had some great weather in Vancouver this week, and it’s looking like it’ll continue into the weekend! So, what better way to celebrate than with nice drinks in a nice spot? And, if you’re looking for a new go-to option, then we’ve got some ideas for you.

Here are some great places to grab drinks in Vancouver this weekend.

Dachi

Over the past few months, Dachi has actually become one of the best wine shops in the city. And while full bottles might be sold out, you can always treat yourself to a glass of whatever they’ve recently opened if you swing by. Consider it your first steps towards being a wine connoisseur.

The Whip

The Whip has a great selection of beers on tap, but that’s not why we’re recommending it. Nope, we’re interested in the ongoing Sunday features from Juju’s Drink Shack, which is a tiki-themed popup. Who doesn’t love a delicious and powerful rum and juice drink?

Gringo

One of our favourite hole-in-the-wall spots in the city, without a doubt. Not only is the food tremendous (and cheap), the exact same can be said for the drinks. Grab a couple of tacos and treat yourself to a sleeve of beer for $4.25. Or, really go off with one of their signature ‘buckets’.

The Shebeen

Ok, back to a more refined experience. Located in the back of The Irish Heather, this whiskey bar offers dozens of delicious bottles to try. While the prices can get high, the vast majority of the drink menu is under $10 a pour. Clearly, this is just an enthusiast wanting to share his passion with us.

Key Party

We haven’t brought up Key Party in a hot second, so we think they’re overdue for a refresher. With an authentic speakeasy entrance, this spot offers an amazing interior to relax in. Lucky for us, they’ve got the drink menu to match, from cocktails to nightcaps.

And, those are our picks for where you should grab drinks in Vancouver this weekend! We hope that you like them folks, because we sure do.
