Ah yes, the Molson Brewery, the old behemoth just chilling at the edge of the Burrard Bridge. But, new renderings of what might replace it have sprung up, courtesy of Concord Pacific. The development, dubbed Quantum Park, is a massive, mixed-use concept that might feature over 3,000 homes.

The project is still in its early stages, and no formal application has been submitted to the city just yet. But, that hasn’t stopped Concord Pacific from releasing renderings of the space. And hoo boy, things would look pretty crazy if approved.

This 55-storey building approved by City Council will be one of Vancouver’s tallest towers

Quantum Park will feature over 1,800,000 square feet of space. And, that will be divided between retail shops, residential units, and offices. The development would also feature two massive atriums and rooftop spaces for tenants. We kind of like the design, since the whole stacked box aesthetic matches Vancouver’s port city status.

However, we’re guessing that it will be some time before this project gets underway. In the meanwhile, the adjacent Sen̓áḵw Lands development has been approved by the city. Either way, the south area of the Burrard Bridge is about to see some massive changes.
