Toronto’s latest development project is exciting addition coming soon to the downtown core. The King Street West project was designed by Frank Gehry and will seriously revolutionize the area, featuring two massive and gorgeous buildings unlike any the city has seen before.
So the King Street West project is backed by the killer team of Great Gulf, Westdale Properties, and Dream Unlimited. These developmental giants just showcased a refined version of the design at a City of Toronto community meeting.

So what does Toronto have in store? For starters, the two buildings will have incredible unique exteriors. They both have textural metal and glass facades that complement each other while remaining slightly different. Not to mention how tall the towers will be. The west tower will come in at just over 1,000 feet tall, while the east tower will be 874 feet tall.
Of course, within the buildings will be just as impressive. Along with being home to a ton of brand new residential units, the King Street West project is also bringing a ton of retail and even space for OCAD University as well. It’s some pretty impressive stuff, people.
So keep your eyes peeled for more updates on this exciting project. The latest design package was submitted to the city for review in December 2020.JTNDZGl2JTIwaWQlM0QlMjJtb2JpbGUtYWQtb25seSUyMiUzRSUwQSUzQyUyMS0tJTIwVG9yb250byUyMC0lMjBNb2JpbGUlMjAtLSUzRSUwQSUzQ2lucyUyMGNsYXNzJTNEJTIyYWRzYnlnb29nbGUlMjIlMEElQzIlQTAlQzIlQTAlQzIlQTAlQzIlQTAlQzIlQTBzdHlsZSUzRCUyMmRpc3BsYXklM0FibG9jayUzQndpZHRoJTNBMzIwcHglM0JoZWlnaHQlM0E1MHB4JTNCJTIyJTBBJUMyJUEwJUMyJUEwJUMyJUEwJUMyJUEwJUMyJUEwZGF0YS1hZC1jbGllbnQlM0QlMjJjYS1wdWItNTUyMTg1Njk1NTQ5NzQ1NiUyMiUwQSVDMiVBMCVDMiVBMCVDMiVBMCVDMiVBMCVDMiVBMGRhdGEtYWQtc2xvdCUzRCUyMjEyMTk1NjU4MzQlMjIlM0UlM0MlMkZpbnMlM0UlMEElM0MlMkZkaXYlM0U=
