It was a big night for NHL fans yesterday, as the Montreal Canadiens took home the victory in their game last night against the Vegas Golden Knights. This marks the first time in 28 years that the Habs are headed to the Stanley Cup Final. Needless to say, folks are pretty jazzed up about it.

As with every major sporting moment, the reactions were almost as wild as the win itself. Here are some of the craziest photos and videos from last night’s celebration in Montreal.

Of course, given that the COVID-19 pandemic is still very much a thing, many were less than impressed by the massive crowds gathering on the streets.

Especially when riots erupted in some parts of the city.

Dancing in your living room and then jumping in a lake? This fan’s got socially-distanced celebrations right…

Tonight’s game between the New York Islanders and Tampa Bay Lightning will determine who the Montreal Canadiens are going to face off against in the finals.

We’ll be crossing our fingers and cheering along as the only Canadian team left (hopefully!) takes home the cup!
