Ah, summer. The grass is green, the sun is shining, and we’re constantly keeping our eyes on the best places to cool off in the province. A great place to start is at all of the waterparks you can find in BC. From nearby options with slides and lazy rivers, to further away spots with just as much fun, here is a quick little list of some of the best waterparks you can find in BC this summer.

CULTUS LAKE WATERPARK

British Columbia’s biggest waterpark is open for the summer and calling your name. With everything from giant slides to water bowls and an adventure river, Cultus Lake Waterpark is a no-brainer when it comes to summer experiences.

HARRISON LAKE WATERPARK

A trip to Harrison Lake this summer comes with a lot of adventure options. You can hit up their giant inflatable waterpark, rent some sea-doos to rip around the lake, or even snag one of their unique BBQ Boats for a very chill day on the water.

BRIDAL FALLS WATERPARK

This waterpark is all about being family-friendly and accessible. They have stairless waterslides for folks of all ages to enjoy and a selection of them to make things even better. Opt for something simple or if you’re brave check out the totally pitch black “Black Hole” waterslide.

BIG SPLASH WATER SLIDE PARK

Are you a waterslide junkie? Well, Big Splash Water Park is definitely worth checking out. You can enjoy tons of different slides for people of all ages as well as pools, hot tubs, and more. Plus they have the only Boomerango waterslide in Western Canada.

KELOWNA WIBIT

This unique floating waterpark is almost more like an aquatic obstacle course. So if you’re looking to have fun and get a workout in, this might just be the spot for you. Plus you’ll be close to town so you can head for drinks and eats after or just chill on the beach.

Here’s another spot with waterslides galore and a super family-friendly vibe. Most of the slides here are on the tamer side so you don’t have to worry about getting too scared. Go for a slide or lounge on the side of the pools, either way you’re sure to have tons of fun.

This park is fun for the whole family and has 7 waterslides, 2 hot tubs as well as a toddler pool with a fountain. You can also check out an arcade and gift shop as well as a concession stand. So treat yourself to that classic waterpark experience you’d missed so much.
