Here are all the rules you should know about dome dining in Seattle

It looks like dome dining is about to become a whole lot more popular in Seattle. After all, we’ve seen multiple local restaurants hopping on the trend. And with Washington’s new COVID-19 regulations, they just so happen to work pretty dang well. So here are all the specifications.

As you might have guessed, all tables are limited to 5 guests. But the reason why domes seem to be so popular is that outdoor dining structures are supposed to have no more than 2 walls. And well, a dome is really just one curved wall, so it sort of skirts around the rule.

But that rule is in place to ensure that there is ventilation for diners. With that in mind, doors and windows in domes are supposed to be left open while they are being dined in. And as for cleaning, the domes have to be aired out for 10 minutes before they can be cleaned by staff. So you can rest easy knowing that your dome dining experience is regulated and to code.
