On the topic of French-inspired foods, Bakery Nouveau is an excellent choice if you just want pastries and a coffee. And they’re running on a takeout basis. So you can grab your treats and enjoy a walk in Volunteer Park afterward.

The Dish

This is our favorite spot for a classic American breakfast. And it turns out they’ve expanded from Ballard/Fremont to Green Lake as well! So you can either dine-in or take your food to go. Either way, you won’t be disappointed.

The Crumpet Shop

This classic Seattle spot is another great stop if you’re heading to Pike Place. And with a huge menu, you’ll have plenty of both sweet and savory options to choose from. Plus they’re operating on a takeout basis so you can enjoy your crumpet while exploring the market.
