The cafe notes that queues are expected to be long, and to arrive early to avoid long lineups:

“To ensure everyone can take home a piece of Hello Kitty merchandise, please limit your purchase to two items per person,” says the cafe. “Spending time in the cafe is limited to 30 minutes per person, allowing everyone to enjoy the experience.”

Vancouver’s Hello Kitty Cafe will open its doors at 10 am on Friday, May 17th.

So there you have it, Vancouver! The wait is finally almost over.
