This Vancouver-founded candy just got a Kardashian stamp of approval & here’s what to know

You heard it here, folks! Vancouver’s own Healthy Hippo candy recently partnered with Kourtney Kardashian’s Poosh at the first-ever Camp Poosh event.

To celebrate three years of Poosh, Kardashian and her team created a two-day retreat that combined the best of glamping and nostalgic summer camp vibes. Naturally, Healthy Hippo was in attendance.

Healthy Hippo Naturals Inc. was founded by Ashley Paterson and is run by an all-women team, making it an ideal choice for Kardashian’s health & lifestyle blog.

Paterson is no stranger to rocking the boat in the vegan world — in fact, her company Big Mountain Foods has become the largest distributor of plant-based meals across North American retailers.

As for Healthy Hippo, the brand recently joined PLANET->FWD in becoming carbon neutral certified. The best kind of candy? The kind that serves a greater purpose than just our sweet tooth (although that’s pretty important, too.)

The low-sugar, plant-based candy not only comes in several flavours and shaped gummies, but it is also loaded with fibre. Honestly, if you find yourself eating an entire bag in one sitting — we wouldn’t blame you one bit.

Try their fan favourite Hippo Gummies and Sour Keys, or order a variety pack to try a bit of everything! Check out their website for all the deets.
