Ready for a ‘slasher showdown?’ Run for your life at this haunting Calgary experience

Spooky season is here and there is no better place to celebrate than by taking a leisurely stroll through a haunting house of ghosts, ghouls and fictional frights.

Known for its macabre effects and jolly good jumpscares, Haunted Calgary at New Horizon Mall has returned with its own brand of terror and it’s going to be scarier than ever.

Set to kick off on October 13th, adrenaline-seekers are encouraged to check out one of their ner-wracking events which includes a selfie museum and one-night-only ‘Slasher Showdown’ in the parkade.

Inspired by ’80s horror films, attendees will have to outsmart and outlast the merciless ‘killers’ hunting them down.

“With interactive sets, nerve-wracking challenges, and a need to use all your wits to survive, this haunted attraction promises to be nothing short of spine-chilling,” they explain adding that it’ll take place on the 13th of October.

As for what else is happening in this month? The Skeletons in Our Closet attraction, the Blackout experience and a zombie-themed survival game aptly named Hell Night.

“A horrible plague has rampaged Alberta, but you’ve found shelter in the underground parkade of New Horizon Mall with a group of fellow survivors. But the scent of fresh brains has simply grown too strong and the infected have found you,” they said.

“Now, your survival depends on your next move. You will need to strategize to outmaneuver other participants and stay alive.”

Interested? Tickets are on sale now, but hurry! You won’t want to miss out on anything!

It’s going to be a terrify-ic time!
