Elisabeth Moss spotted on ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ set in downtown Toronto (PHOTOS)

June Osborne is back! Filming for the new season of The Handmaid’s Tale is well underway in Toronto and Elisabeth Moss herself was spotted on set with her co-star O-T Fagbenle right in the heart of Yonge-Dundas Square.

The two were photographed side by side on Tuesday, March 29. Both were wrapped up in long beige jackets and had pensive expressions on their faces as the camera filmed.

The cast and crew then moved on to film an evening scene on the University of Toronto campus, setting up outside of a building that had been turned into the “Consulate General of the United States of America” for the show.

Production began in Toronto earlier this year on February 7th. Around that time, the stars started to drop hints on social media that they were back on set.

According to Toronto’s list of projects currently filming, Gilead 5 Productions will be shooting season five of the series in the city until the end of July.

And that’s not the only major production in Toronto right now. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is also actively filming all over the city.

Considering how many major TV shows are using Toronto as their backdrop, Vancouver’s going to have to work a bit harder for the title of Hollywood North.
