The dates are out! Hamilton is making a comeback in Toronto and it’s ready to hit the stage next month. The popular musical will kick off in February and run until June at the Princess of Wales Theatre.

“We are very pleased to confirm the dates of Hamilton’s performances in Toronto. We’ve all waited a long time for this return engagement,” said Mirvish when the musical’s return was announced.

The return of the Broadway hit is a long time coming. Its run was cut short back in March 2020, and it was only able to play four weeks of its two-and-a-half-month scheduled run.

“To be able to welcome this show back is truly a very significant and meaningful announcement,” the statement continued.

This award-winning show is popular for its unique score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and Broadway.

It tells the story of the American founding father Alexander Hamilton, based on Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography, through a genius combination of song and rap.

This musical is not only entertaining, but has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education.

Mirvish Theatre’s jam-packed new season is well underway. It features 14 shows in total, including six main productions, three off-Mirvish season shows, and five bonus shows.

Tickets are on sale for Hamilton‘s return to Mirvish this February, and you can get yours online.
