It’s not every day that Capitol Hill gets a new grocery store, especially one as wildly popular as H Mart. Well M2M to be exact, the new store is the chain’s “urban convenience” format making it the perfect addition to the newly opened Capitol Hill Station. Let’s get into the details.

H Mart is a popular Korean-American grocery store with over 100 locations across the US, Canada, and the UK. Currently, there are H Mart locations in both downtown Seattle and UW.

The Capitol Hill location quietly opened its doors on Friday, April 15th without an official statement from the chain’s parent company despite its popularity. It’s located on top of the new Capitol Hill Station at the corner of E John St & Broadway E.

While M2M is considered the grocer’s convenience store, the Capitol Hill location is very much so a full market. Shoppers will find produce, meat & dairy sections, a frozen section, and plenty of snacks. Additionally, popular H Mart elements like baked goods and BBQ chicken can be found at the new Capitol Hill location, according to Capitol Hill Blog.

What’s more, it appears that you’ll be able to get even more H Mart classics in the future thanks to a food court that is set to open on the upstairs mezzanine. In the meantime, you can stop by and load up on your favorite Asian goods and snacks from 8 am-9:30 pm on weekdays and 9 am-9:30 pm on weekends.
